What you will do

• Provide investment advice to trustees and officers of institutional clients.
• Work with clients to understand requirements and deliver bespoke investment solutions.
• Support investment strategy analysis, risk modelling, portfolio construction, and implementation.
• Assess whether client requirements can be met from contractual and regulatory perspectives.
• Develop and maintain proprietary investment tools and systems, including Python-based solutions.
• Prepare bespoke client reporting and communicate complex analysis clearly to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of major asset classes, derivatives, and liability-driven investment.
• Experience in investment strategy design, portfolio construction, and risk analysis.
• Experience providing investment advice to institutional investors.
• Understanding of the UK defined benefit pension scheme environment, including its risks, objectives, and regulatory considerations.
• Structured project management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality numerical analysis.
• Confidence developing and improving investment tools, systems, and processes.

Nice to have

• Python capability.
• Actuarial or CFA qualification, or progress towards one.
