Equity Middle Office Associate (OTC Derivatives)

What you will do

• Process trade bookings and lifecycle events across OTC products, including IRS, CDS, FX, FX options, Bond TRS, Equity TRS, dividend swaps, OTC options, and volatility and variance swaps.
• Manage trade affirmations, paper confirmations, cash settlements, cash wires, static data, resets, fixings, and terminations.
• Perform T0 trade matching and reconciliations using MTM, Markitwire, and prime broker portals.
• Support accurate reporting of P&L, NAVs, positions, dividend accruals, margin, and collateral information.
• Work closely with trading desks, portfolio managers, operations colleagues, executing brokers, counterparties, and technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in operations; buy-side hedge fund experience with direct exposure to traders and portfolio managers is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of OTC derivatives, including IRS, CDS, Bond TRS, Equity TRS, dividend swaps, OTC options, and volatility and variance swaps.
• Experience with prime broker, executing broker, and FCM portals and reporting tools.
• Strong prioritization, attention to detail, adaptability, accountability, communication, and client-service skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multi-strategy, multi-portfolio-manager fund structure.
• Experience with Markitwire, Enfusion, Geneva, and EMS platforms.
• Macros/VBA experience; familiarity with Python or SQL.
