Cost Accountant

What you will do

• Gather financial data and maintain the integrity of inventory reporting.
• Determine and set up standard costs for product parts and prepare monthly forecasts.
• Reconcile and analyze inventory, COGS, and OCOGS accounts, researching and resolving variances.
• Analyze production costs including PPV, IPV, WIP variance, scrap, yield, and absorption.
• Prepare production, month-end, and inventory metric reports for management.
• Initiate process improvement, cost reduction, efficiency, internal control, and waste elimination projects while communicating with Operations.

Requirements

• Successful background and reference checks are required.
• Proof of the right to work in the Philippines is required.
• Experience with inventory valuation, standard costing, COGS analysis, and month-end accounting procedures.
• Ability to investigate unusual cost records, allocate cost data correctly, and resolve inventory variances.
• Ability to prepare forecasts, financial analyses, and inventory metrics.
