Software and Platform Engineer (Navigation)

Location: Ramonville St. Agne, Toulouse, France; hybrid working model with up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

hirify.global develops advanced navigation systems and platforms, including ground-segment services supporting emergency alerting and search-and-rescue capabilities through Galileo SIS.

What you will do

• Contribute to the ERAS emergency alerting platform and RLSP search-and-rescue service.
• Develop, integrate, validate, deploy, and maintain navigation systems and platforms.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments and containerized services, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Automate operational activities and support monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Investigate incidents and analyze logs and metrics to improve reliability and performance.
• Contribute to security improvements across software and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience in Linux-based environments.
• Knowledge of C++ and Python.
• Experience with deployment and configuration tools such as Helm, Argo CD, or equivalent technologies.
• Knowledge of Git, monitoring, logging, observability, and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch or equivalent technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Kafka or other message-broker platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, secure-by-design principles, and vulnerability-management practices.
