Non Medical Prescriber (ADHD)

What you will do

• Deliver structured ADHD diagnostic assessments for children and adults, including diagnostic observations and third-party evidence.
• Complete full diagnostic formulations and provide specialist ADHD assessment outcomes.
• Assess treatment options and conduct medication appointments for children and adults.
• Prescribe, titrate, monitor, and review medication in accordance with NICE guidelines.
• Support clients through post-diagnostic treatment options within specialist assessment and ADHD treatment services.
• Provide on-call cover from 6pm to 8am every third week, alongside operating-hour shifts between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday.

Requirements

• At least two years of recent post-qualification experience delivering structured ADHD assessments.
• Professional registration with the NMC or GPhC and a V300 Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
• Specialist knowledge of ADHD assessment and treatment options, including relevant medication.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions across the lifespan.
• Ability to prescribe safely and effectively in line with NICE guidelines and maintain high safeguarding standards for adults and children.
