Planning and Control Planner (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Manage production, inventory, process, and shop floor control activities, including SAP work order release schedules.
• Analyze shortages, work order variances, material availability, inventory usage, and stock levels to support manufacturing and engineering.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, validate scheduling requirements, and manage engineering change orders and related reporting.
• Participate in floor audits, production meetings, cycle counting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of work-in-progress issues.
• Support material planning for special engineering projects and coordinate with engineers, work centers, finance, and expediters.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data, develop forecasts and statistical analyses, create Tableau visualizations, and convert business requirements into action items using Python, SQL, or equivalent tools.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in planning and control, with knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how planning and control integrates with other business functions.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across related teams.
• Experience or knowledge with SAP, MRP, inventory control, data analysis, forecasting, Tableau, Python, or SQL.
