Senior Director, Supply Chain Management

What you will do

• Lead a global Commodity Management organization responsible for strategic direct-material commodities.
• Develop multi-year commodity, sourcing, capacity, investment, and supplier strategies aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
• Build multi-tier supply resilience, alternative-source readiness, predictive risk signals, and continuity plans.
• Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, operations, product, and technology teams to advance supplier capability and innovation.
• Lead complex negotiations, long-term agreements, executive supplier reviews, and measurable cost and margin improvement initiatives.
• Build analytics, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and a commodity control-tower operating model.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Commodity Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading global teams through managers and cross-functional leaders.
• Proven success managing market cycles, supply constraints, supplier disruptions, organizational transformation, and operating-model change.
• Experience creating and executing long-term commodity strategies with measurable business impact.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and managing complex senior-level supplier relationships.
• Strong technical and commercial judgment, executive communication, strategic thinking, and people leadership capabilities.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience with direct materials, complex technology supply chains, high-volume manufacturing, or capital-intensive supplier ecosystems.
• Experience deploying analytics, automation, AI-enabled workflows, or decision-support capabilities in supply chain environments.
