Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: London, United Kingdom; full-time onsite. Remote work is not available.

hirify.global AV operates autonomous vehicle fleets in partnership with industry leaders such as Waymo, supporting the commercialisation of autonomous mobility.

What you will do

• Lead daily Ride Hail Operations and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant fleet activities.
• Supervise Fleet Deployment Specialists, AV Cleaners, and Calibration Associates across all shifts.
• Monitor operational KPIs, conduct quality checks, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident escalation, root-cause investigations, system-failure response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver onboarding and refresher training, coach team members, and communicate skill gaps to the training team.
• Present operational insights and improvement plans to leadership while maintaining safety, maintenance, environmental, and partner SOP compliance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in operations, fleet, mobility, or logistics management.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams through training, coaching, and feedback, including Train-the-Trainer or similar programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Technical fluency with tools such as Google Workspace and Slack, plus a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors, remain active across the depot and lot, and use required PPE.
• Must be authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship and available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
