What you will do

• Lead a large, multidisciplinary team across concurrent audit remediation and sustainment workstreams.
• Serve as the primary liaison for senior government stakeholders, internal audit functions, and external auditors.
• Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and actionable insights for Department of Defense leadership.
• Oversee compliance reviews, risk assessments, internal control testing, and process documentation.
• Build a collaborative, accountable, and adaptable team culture focused on mission success.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
• CPA, CDFM, CGFM, or CISA certification.
• Experience leading large-scale federal audit remediation programs, preferably in the DoD or a similarly complex environment.
• In-depth knowledge of DoD audit frameworks, FIAR guidance, GAAP, OMB requirements, and the DoD Financial Management Regulation.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to work through shifting priorities and complex stakeholder dynamics.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GFEBS, DEAMS, GAFS-R, MHS GENESIS, ABACUS, Advana, and DDRS.
• Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, Power BI, or R.
• Experience with organizational change management and strategic communications in large federal programs.
