GM-in-Training (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California; requires working in the Palo Alto office five days a week initially. Applicants must currently reside in one of the listed U.S. states or Ontario, Canada, depending on employment classification.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD base salary, plus possible stock options.

What you will do

• Work directly with and receive mentorship from the cofounder and CEO.
• Identify and solve high-leverage problems during a period of rapid business growth.
• Work across product, growth, operations, finance, engineering, and data.
• Help launch, operate, and scale new business lines such as home insurance, property tax, motorcycle insurance, repair bids, and roadside assistance.
• Develop toward owning a P&L for a business line.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in management consulting, venture capital, private equity, or a startup environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, economics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Ability to work in person alongside the CEO and executive team in Palo Alto.
• Must currently reside in an eligible U.S. state or Ontario, Canada.
• Demonstrated ownership, resilience, bias for action, and first-principles problem solving.
