Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; this role is based onsite in Denver. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR and related U.S. Government export regulations.
Base salary: $120,000–$175,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of payload development and integration programs from requirements through operational deployment.
- Manage scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, decision logs, integrated schedules, dashboards, and execution metrics.
- Coordinate vertical integration across payloads, spacecraft systems, flight software, ground systems, manufacturing, testing, launch, and mission operations.
- Translate mission and product requirements into technical plans and drive interface definition, integration readiness, and cross-functional accountability.
- Plan development, environmental, qualification, acceptance, end-to-end, and operational readiness testing.
- Establish program reviews, technical interchange meetings, risk reviews, integration planning sessions, and executive updates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, hardware development, or a related technical field.
- Experience delivering complex hardware or aerospace systems through development, prototyping, testing, production, and integration.
- Technical understanding of space or defense systems such as satellites, spacecraft payloads, sensors, communications systems, missile defense systems, rockets, or engines.
- Experience with cross-functional hardware, software, systems engineering, manufacturing, test, and operations programs, including system integration and verification.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid development processes.
- Active Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI is preferred. Candidates must satisfy U.S. ITAR work-authorization requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with payload development, spacecraft payload integration, mission-system interfaces, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Experience with aerospace, electrical, mechanical, systems engineering, computer science, or related technical disciplines.
- Experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, or external technical partners.
- Experience with Power BI, program analytics, or relevant program management certifications.
