Developer (PHP)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

Monthly salary: €4,320–€6,480 gross plus an annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Develop and maintain web/UI and backend services for the Telia Smart Connect B2B call center solution.
• Design and optimize data solutions using SQL databases and/or MongoDB.
• Improve system scalability, caching, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Identify application vulnerabilities and apply secure coding practices.
• Collaborate through Git workflows, code reviews, pull requests, and shared engineering standards.
• Contribute to technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong experience with PHP and/or Golang.
• Experience with SQL databases and/or MongoDB.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Experience working in collaborative software development teams using Git, code reviews, and pull requests.
• Ability to work independently while proactively asking for help when needed.
• Experience with high-traffic systems, security vulnerabilities, secure coding, application security, or Linux is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Vue.
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Docker.
