Technical Implementation Consultant (Promise XP)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico. The role includes periodic on-site work at client offices across North America and occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Architect and design integration blueprints for PromiseXP client deployments.
• Lead API, event-driven architecture, data model, and solution design activities while contributing to Java development when required.
• Support pre-sales engagements through technical presentations, demonstrations, and client discussions.
• Define business and non-functional requirements, coordinate change requests, and collaborate with client IT teams, system integrators, and business partners.
• Guide clients through installation, integration, testing, production go-live, and system integration testing best practices.
• Coordinate software releases, provide regional technical support, and deliver API training to clients.

Requirements

• Experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations using REST APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on Java and RESTful web services experience, including willingness to contribute to development activities.
• Experience with Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, or equivalent messaging and event-streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, OpenAPI, data modelling, SQL, source control, change management, and modern software delivery practices.
• Expertise in identity and access management, including SSO, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, JWT, RBAC, and service-to-service authentication, with experience using enterprise identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping Identity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline, plus strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in life and health insurance, claims, policy administration, or financial services.
• Background as an Integration Architect, Solution Architect, Systems Analyst, or Senior Developer.
