  • Knowledge of machining, stamping, molding, casting, extrusion, plating, surface finishing, mechanical assembly, tolerance analysis, metrology, and root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to evaluate risks related to environmental exposure, vibration, shock, thermal cycling, corrosion, and long-term operation, and collaborate with global suppliers and engineering teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with optical communications, telecom, datacom, photonics, electronics, aerospace, medical, or other high-reliability products.
  • Experience with precision mechanical components, tight-tolerance assemblies, and optical or electronic mechanical interfaces.
  • Experience with Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, GD&T, CMM, surface-finish measurement, or coating/thickness measurement.
  • Experience with component lifecycle and engineering change management, including PCNs, EOLs, and alternate-component qualification.
  • Experience with thermal management, thermal interface materials, and thermal-mechanical design.

Culture & Benefits

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Mechanical Design, R&D, Supplier Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Compliance, and suppliers.
