IMM Computational Intern (Immunology)

Location: Spring House, Pennsylvania, United States. Hybrid work is available for non-lab-based roles, with on-site attendance three days per week and remote work two days per week.

What you will do

• Design and execute computational analyses addressing defined immunology research questions.
• Analyze and visualize human cellular, molecular, genetic, and multi-omics datasets.
• Develop, adapt, benchmark, and troubleshoot reproducible workflows, statistical methods, algorithms, and models.
• Interpret results to identify disease pathways, therapeutic targets, mechanisms of action, patient stratification approaches, and biomarkers.
• Collaborate with computational, discovery, translational, and clinical colleagues to integrate evidence and inform project decisions.
• Document methods and results, communicate findings, and present an abstract or poster at an organization-wide research symposium.

Requirements

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Must be available full time, 40 hours per week, for the entire internship period.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college throughout the internship and not graduating before, during, or after the program.
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least six semesters, or equivalent quarters; graduate students must be pursuing a master’s, PharmD, Physician Assistant, PhD, or related clinical degree.
• Studying computational biology, bioinformatics, computer science, biomedical engineering, clinical pharmacology, translational research, precision medicine, or a related field, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to work on site three days per week in Spring House.

• Leadership or participation in campus or service programs.
• Experience with Python, R, C++, or Java and the ability to leverage AI.
• Experience developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting algorithms and models.
• Strong presentation, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
