Pay range: Assistant Professor $129,759–$158,955; Associate Professor $155,239–$213,453; Full Professor $175,795–$307,641

What you will do

• Develop and lead an independent research program in a biomedical discipline relevant to genetics and genomics.
• Investigate biological mechanisms of human health and disease using experimental, computational, and translational approaches.
• Build collaborative connections across JAX research programs and contribute to interdisciplinary team science.
• Use cellular, tissue, organoid, mouse, human, and computational models of disease.
• Translate genomic discoveries into clinical impact through partnerships with universities, hospitals, biotechnology companies, and patient-centered research programs.
• Provide intellectual leadership and expand institutional strengths at the Associate or Full Professor level.

Requirements

• Research expertise in one or more relevant areas, including human genetics, functional genomics, genome engineering, immunology, aging, cancer biology, disease modeling, computational biology, data science, or AI-enabled biomedical discovery.
• Ability to develop an ambitious and innovative independent research program.
• Commitment to collaborative science and interdisciplinary research.
