What you will do

• Conduct legal research supporting commercial underwriting decisions.
• Analyze real estate law issues involving title, liens, foreclosure, and authority.
• Review policy forms, endorsements, and underwriting standards.
• Participate in underwriting file discussions and risk analysis sessions.
• Shadow underwriters during active transactions and approval workflows.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school as a rising 2L or 3L student.
• Strong legal research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Interest in real estate law, mortgage, financial services, title insurance, or related industries.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, ethics, integrity, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with initiative, productivity, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset.
