Registered Nurse, Occupational Health

Location: Onsite in Barberton, Ohio. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Salary: $31.60–$39.50 per hour

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based care to client employees and injured workers within the nursing scope of practice.
• Evaluate, prioritize, treat, and follow up with patients while coordinating case management with third-party administrators and clients.
• Perform and document occupational health tests, screenings, physical evaluations, and treatments, including EKG, audiometry, spirometry, and vision testing.
• Implement transitional duty and return-to-work programs, support accident investigations, and participate in workplace safety initiatives.
• Administer medications and emergency care, maintain medical equipment and records, and follow infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and company departments on health promotion and injury prevention programs.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an Associate degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in occupational health, emergency, or ambulatory care.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required; ACLS may be required depending on the contract scope.
• Experience supporting workplace health and safety through hazard mitigation, health screenings, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and return-to-work exams.
• Occupational Health, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management certification is preferred and may be required at some sites.
