Base pay: $102,000–$173,400 annually

What you will do

• Define and implement global deployment strategies for advanced manufacturing technologies across the synthetic manufacturing network.
• Lead deployment of digital manufacturing, process intensification, real-time release testing, process analytical technology, advanced process control, modeling, and multivariate analytics.
• Partner with MSAT, Supply Chain, JJT, Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and site leadership to prioritize opportunities and execute multi-site deployments.
• Guide commercialization, technology transfer, scale-up, process implementation, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Build business cases and value realization frameworks covering cost, quality, reliability, compliance, cycle time, and sustainability.
• Provide scientific leadership, technical documentation, regulatory support, and governance across global initiatives.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Data Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, MSAT, process engineering, or related technical functions.
• Experience leading global deployment of complex manufacturing technologies.
• Experience with commercialization, technology transfer, process validation, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to lead complex, multi-site initiatives and influence stakeholders across a global matrix organization.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAPA, lean supply chain management, program management, technical research, and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene, product costing, crisis management, and agile decision-making.
