Salary: $117,000–$201,250 base pay per year

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor engineers and technicians while managing direct reports.
  • Direct cross-functional product development from concept through clinical trials and commercial release.
  • Guide catheter design, engineering activities, test methods, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
  • Coordinate technical personnel, vendors, contractors, project timelines, milestones, and management updates.
  • Ensure design documentation, Design History Files, design reviews, and document approvals meet applicable procedures.
  • Support clinical feedback activities, manufacturing process validation, product quality, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of progressive medical device development experience, including 3+ years leading projects through all product development phases.
  • At least 2 years managing direct reports or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with disposable medical devices, preferably coronary or vascular catheters.
  • Knowledge of QSR and applicable quality system standards, including FDA, ISO, and MDD requirements.
  • Strong understanding of engineering materials, component selection, safety, reliability, manufacturability, communication, and presentation.
