Salary: $105,200–$187,250 in Philadelphia, PA; $140,000–$212,780 in New York, NY

What you will do

  • Provide governance, risk, technology, compliance, and regulatory advisory services with partners.
  • Recommend business and process improvements based on client operations, processes, and objectives.
  • Lead or supervise complex risk-focused financial examinations of regulated insurance entities, including multi-state and group-coordinated examinations.
  • Analyze insurers’ financial condition, prospective solvency, governance, business processes, and internal controls.
  • Monitor regulatory, internal, and external changes and assess their impact on insurers.
  • Supervise and train staff, support business development, and deliver client and conference presentations.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree.
  • At least five years of experience in risk advisory, internal or external audit, a state regulatory agency, or regulatory consulting.
  • Certified Financial Examiner (CFE) certification required.
  • Experience as an Examiner In Charge for multi-state or group-coordinated examinations is preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics, risk management, information technology, or a related field.
  • CPA, Certified Insurance Examiner, or Certified Internal Auditor designation.
