Quality Engineer II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform product and compressor testing to evaluate performance, quality, and reliability.
• Conduct product and component teardowns, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Investigate customer complaints, field returns, warranty claims, and post-production quality concerns.
• Coordinate corrective actions and recommend improvements to testing, manufacturing, assembly, and analytical processes.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, prepare reports, and maintain testing and quality records.
• Act as the primary quality contact for assigned customers and collaborate with quality, sales engineering, manufacturing, and global engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, analytical processes, and statistical quality analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for organizing, analyzing, and reporting quality data.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, technical communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with customers and global teams and respond to urgent quality concerns.
• English communication skills are required; Korean and English bilingual communication is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, product testing, or reliability.
• Experience with product teardown, failure analysis, customer quality issues, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with compressors, HVAC, components, mechanical products, or other engineered products.
