What you will do
- Deliver clinical and scientific presentations on oncology products, with a primary focus on the NeXT Personal tumor-informed ctDNA assay for minimal residual disease detection.
- Build and maintain relationships with oncology key opinion leaders, physicians, researchers, and healthcare providers.
- Represent at conferences, symposia, workshops, grand rounds, and other educational events.
- Support clinical research, investigator-initiated trials, study-site onboarding, and collaboration with investigators.
- Develop and review slide decks, white papers, training materials, publications, and other medically accurate content.
- Gather field insights and monitor emerging research, clinical guidelines, competitive developments, and advances in oncology and molecular diagnostics.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in life sciences, genetics, molecular biology, or a related field; an advanced degree such as PhD, PharmD, or MD is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of oncology and molecular biology, including cancer genomics, biomarkers, and liquid biopsy testing.
- At least 1 year of experience in oncology or precision medicine is preferred; experience may come from clinical practice, research, or industry.
- Excellent scientific communication, presentation, technical writing, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote field-based setting while collaborating with Medical Affairs, R&D, Marketing, and other teams.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to travel by air, and willingness to travel up to approximately 50%, including overnight and occasional short-notice or weekend travel.
Nice to have
- Experience with ctDNA assays, next-generation sequencing, or minimal residual disease monitoring.
- Prior MSL or field medical affairs experience.
- Genetic Counseling certification or other advanced clinical training.
