Frontend Engineer (React/Next.js)

Location: Remote, based in Mexico City

What you will do

• Build pages and reusable React and Next.js components for a new headless front-end.
• Turn design specifications into responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Connect front-end components to headless CMS content and REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Write unit, component, and integration tests for implemented features.
• Participate in code reviews, planning, and estimations.
• Deliver features independently from ticket through merged and tested code, using enterprise AI tools critically for coding, refactoring, testing, and debugging.

Requirements

• 3+ years of front-end engineering experience.
• Solid React and practical production Next.js experience, including at least one shipped Next.js project.
• Understanding of SSR, SSG, and routing fundamentals.
• TypeScript experience and ability to consume REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building responsive, accessible interfaces from design specifications.
• Regular recent use of AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT, plus experience with headless CMSs and integration testing.
