Data Engineer (Digital Twin)

hirify.global develops engineering-grade, physics-enabled digital twins of electricity grids using machine learning to help utilities assess risks, optimize investments, and improve network resilience.

What you will do

• Contribute to end-to-end deployment of the hirify.global platform for utility customers worldwide.
• Ingest and manipulate large LiDAR, GIS, and asset datasets using the platform’s schema language and configuration framework.
• Perform rigorous QA/QC to ensure digital twins accurately represent real-world physics and customer specifications.
• Build custom reports and dashboards for utility engineers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve deployment tools and processes.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Data Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Integration Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming or data language, such as SQL or Python, and the ability to learn a new schema language.
• Fluent written English and the ability to explain technical configurations clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to analyze complex data discrepancies and systematically reconfigure models for complete accuracy.
• Background in engineering, mathematics, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GIS, CAD geoprocessing, or LiDAR data.
