Senior Analytics Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, well-tested dbt data models across commercial, marketing, health outcomes, and clinical operations domains.
• Set technical standards for data modelling, testing, documentation, code quality, and CI/CD.
• Lead analytical projects end to end, including scoping, dependency management, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with clinical, commercial, product, data science, and analytics teams to translate complex requirements into robust data models.
• Evaluate and champion AI-powered analytics tools and shape the company’s emerging technology strategy.
• Drive data quality, reliability, governance, monitoring, and issue resolution across the transformation layer.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
• Experience owning end-to-end data model design across multiple business domains.
• Expert-level SQL, including window functions, CTEs, advanced aggregations, and cloud warehouse optimisation.
• Deep proficiency in dbt, including models, macros, tests, packages, documentation, exposures, and CI/CD.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to clinical and commercial audiences.
• Experience setting technical standards and mentoring data scientists and analysts in a small, high-performing data team.
