Data & AI Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Retrieve, clean, transform, and analyze large healthcare datasets using AWS S3, Athena, SageMaker, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Build and maintain Python and Bash data-processing pipelines for CSV, XML, and device-generated data.
• Investigate missing data, anomalies, time-alignment issues, measurement artifacts, and other data-integrity problems.
• Analyze physiological, vital-sign, and EMR data to support predictive algorithms and machine-learning models.
• Validate Python-based machine-learning and regression results against SAS outputs with biostatistics teams.
• Generate simulated data for algorithm testing and validation in surveillance software.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience in data engineering and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience developing, evaluating, and enhancing AI/ML, predictive, machine-learning, and regression models.
• Healthcare data experience, including physiological signals, vital signs, EMR data, and medical-device-generated clinical data.
• Strong Python skills plus Bash scripting for data processing, automation, and batch processing.
• Experience with AWS S3, Athena, SageMaker, Jupyter Notebooks, CSV/XML transformation, scalable databases, and time-series databases such as InfluxDB.
• Strong data troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional communication skills.
