Senior SW Developer - Tieto Caretech (m/f/d)

Location: Espoo, Finland; flexible hybrid work model.

Develops software, cloud, data, and AI solutions, including healthcare and social care products through Tieto Caretech.

What you will do

• Develop and design backend services and microservices for the Lifecare Data Platform in Azure.
• Build production services running on Kubernetes.
• Design data pipelines in Databricks, often within the same sprint as backend development.
• Work with developers and specialists in data science, data engineering, data modelling, cloud solutions, security, and software development.
• Take responsibility for solving complex customer problems and delivering healthcare and social care solutions.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Java and JVM-based development.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational data modelling.
• Exposure to Scala and Python in a data context.
• Familiarity with distributed processing concepts, especially Apache Spark.
• Curiosity, continuous-learning mindset, responsibility, honesty, and openness in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience developing data-driven solutions for healthcare and social care.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and Terraform.
