Senior Data Analytics Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and evolve the semantic layer and analytics data models using dbt and modern cloud data warehouses.
• Build reusable data products and AI-ready data foundations for self-service analytics and AI-assisted discovery.
• Define and enforce practices for data transformation, versioning, testing, documentation, automation, and quality monitoring.
• Own the lifecycle of metrics and definitions, ensuring consistency, trust, and reuse across the organization.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, data engineers, and AI stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data infrastructure.
• Optimize warehouse performance for cost and scale while mentoring analytics engineers and analysts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analytics.
• Expertise in dbt and modern data transformation pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, star and snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and data vault concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and software engineering practices.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Ability to communicate complex data topics and translate ambiguous business requirements into structured models.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Looker, Mode, Hex, or Tableau.
• Exposure to Spark.
• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing infrastructure, and analysis.
