Product Engineering Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States, at least four days per week at the hirify.global Center. Travel may include up to 25% domestic or international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Expected compensation: $145,676–$178,049 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead technical product support, continuous improvement, and lifecycle management for Home Improvement products.
• Partner with marketing, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, regulatory, sales, suppliers, and business teams on product changes, cost improvements, quality enhancements, and product line extensions.
• Support New Product Introduction programs by transitioning concepts into successful commercial launches.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants and suppliers to deliver products efficiently and reliably.
• Resolve product and manufacturing challenges through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Improve product design, manufacturing, testing, delivery, development speed, and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline, completed and verified before starting.
• At least three years of manufacturing and/or laboratory experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Maplewood at least four days per week.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with product claims substantiation, product testing, technical documentation, or Product Lifecycle Management systems.
• Experience working with cross-functional marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and sales teams.
• Continuous improvement experience focused on speed, quality, efficiency, and consumer experience.
