  • Analyze system faults and risks, develop mitigation plans, and support FDIR and operational workarounds.
  • Create and execute verification plans for flight and hardware-in-the-loop systems supporting launch, space operations, and reentry.
  • Lead avionics integration investigations and participate in mission operations as an avionics specialist or system operator.
  • Build and operate HITL testbeds, ground infrastructure, test racks, and R&D equipment while improving test automation and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in system design, test planning, and validation.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and debugging.
  • Experience with power supplies, modular DAQ systems, RTD and 4–20 mA devices, and general test equipment.
  • Experience with vehicle electrical systems, HITL testbeds, configuration control, and system-level testing.
  • U.S. work authorization and U.S. person status are required due to ITAR and export-control access restrictions.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing test cases and test equipment for vehicle operating conditions.
  • Familiarity with Unix environments and command-line utilities.
  • Strong project or program management skills.
  • Experience as an avionics hardware, FPGA, electronics test, or electrical systems engineer.

Culture & Benefits

  • Regular full-time employment with flexible PTO and 12 paid holidays.
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance with FSA and employer-matched HSA options.
  • 401(k) plan with a 6% employer match, immediately vested, plus incentive equity.
  • Parental leave, family-building and wellness benefits, and a $120 monthly fitness reimbursement.
