Full Stack Developer II

Location: Hybrid position preferred in Plano, Texas; candidates elsewhere in the United States may be considered, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Candidates within 50 miles of a FedEx campus must work onsite several times per week.

Salary: $5,960.29–$7,897.38 monthly

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications.
• Develop retail solutions supporting shipping, packing, and advanced parcel management services.
• Own automated software builds and releases through CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Participate in peer code reviews and maintain code quality and architectural standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and follow modern SDLC practices to deliver incremental value.

Requirements

• Hands-on enterprise software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Strong understanding of 12-factor cloud-native architecture, RESTful API design, microservices, and server-side development.
• Ability to manage and deliver assigned tasks within an Agile framework.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in an information technology or engineering environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Development experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Google Cloud Platform.
