Senior .Net Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Hourly rate: $90–110/hr; W2 position for 12 months.

What you will do

• Embed with application-development teams to analyze, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities across .NET applications and services.
• Deliver hands-on fixes for access control, injection, secrets, encryption, APIs, insecure configurations, and vulnerable dependencies.
• Support security remediation in Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript applications as needed.
• Integrate security scanning and controls into CI/CD pipelines and develop automated tests to validate fixes and prevent regressions.
• Address vulnerabilities affecting Azure services, containers, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments.
• Coordinate release validation, evidence, issue closure, code reviews, mentoring, and remediation supervision with engineering, security, and risk teams.

Requirements

• Six or more years of software-engineering experience with strong hands-on .NET expertise.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Practical experience applying OWASP, CWE, and CVE guidance and interpreting SAST, DAST, SCA, penetration-testing, and code-scan findings.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, JWT, RBAC, encryption, TLS, secrets management, and API security.
• Experience with Azure services, including App Services, Functions, API Management, and Key Vault, plus familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CI/CD platforms.
• Financial-services experience with strong automated testing, debugging, root-cause analysis, communication, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
