TL;DR
Senior .NET Application Developer (.NET/C#): Designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining web, client-server, and standalone applications for government mission systems with an accent on full-lifecycle delivery, secure authentication, and application integration. Focus on solving systems compatibility challenges, implementing RESTful and back-end services, conducting code reviews, and mentoring less senior developers.
Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid work with two days per week at the client site

What you will do
- Design, develop, enhance, implement, and troubleshoot software applications across web, client-server, standalone, and collaborative computing environments.
- Deliver solutions across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and feasibility assessment through production deployment.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate product conversions, integrations, and major application enhancements.
- Resolve systems integration, compatibility, platform, and production issues while responding to improvement requests.
- Provide technical guidance to clients and project teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor less senior developers.
- Contribute to user manuals, technical reports, application tool evaluations, and software testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent senior .NET development experience may substitute.
- 8+ years of technical analysis experience as a .NET software application developer.
- Experience with C#, .NET 6 or greater, .NET Framework 4.8 or greater, ASP.NET Core, Windows Services, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with MVC and MVVM, EF Core 6 or greater, SQL Server or Oracle, front-end tools such as jQuery, AJAX, and Telerik Kendo UI, and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, role-based access control, claims-based authentication, and secure coding practices.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government clearance is required.
