IT Associate Business Solutions Analyst, Level 2 (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid role based in East Berlin, Connecticut, or Westwood, Massachusetts; employees must work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and may be required to work up to five days in the office. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire may be required. Emergency restoration assignments may occur outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location.

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between IT and an assigned business area, leading meetings and facilitating cross-functional communication.
• Analyze workflows, business processes, requirements, user stories, and current/future-state process models.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements and help develop solution designs and IT roadmaps.
• Evaluate enhancement requests, optimize processes, and support application development and implementation activities.
• Coordinate development requests across internal teams, external development groups, and business stakeholders.
• Support capital project business cases, estimates, procurement events, RFPs/RFIs, and statements of work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of demonstrated business analysis experience.
• Business and general systems knowledge, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and business process optimization skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be available for emergency restoration assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in the utility industry.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of financial and cost models and budgeting.
• Business analysis, requirements engineering, Agile analysis, or SAFe certifications.
• Experience participating in procurement events and developing statements of work.
