Cost Accounting Manager (Food/Beverage)

Location: Remote, Dallas, Texas, United States

Salary: $55–$60 per hour on W-2 with benefits. Project duration is 6–9 months, with potential extensions to 12–15 months or longer.

What you will do

• Maintain accurate book inventory in collaboration with the internal supply chain team.
• Analyze manufacturing operations and their impact on average costing.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies with third-party warehousing and manufacturing providers.
• Monitor and record inventory adjustments and recurring transactional issues.
• Perform bi-weekly book-to-book and period-end inventory reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end costing entries and reports, lead warehouse count audits, and support inventory-related year-end audit items.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cost or inventory accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Expert Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with third-party warehousing and manufacturing facilities.
• Advanced ERP navigation, including Netsuite, and strong knowledge of GAAP.
