Senior Labor Legal Counsel

Location: Peschiera Borromeo, Milan, Italy; hybrid working

Salary: From €65,000 gross per year, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise HR and management on individual and collective employment law matters.
• Manage employment litigation and coordinate external law firms when required.
• Support reorganizations, restructurings, transformations, and other extraordinary transactions from a labor law perspective.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, collective agreements, and company policies.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws and industrial relations regulations.
• Handle disciplinary procedures, dismissals, and workforce reduction processes.

Requirements

• Law degree and admission to the Bar.
• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in employment law from a reputable law firm or corporate environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Italian employment law.
• Experience handling or supporting labor relations and company reorganizations.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and business orientation skills.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in multinational environments.
• Knowledge of additional European jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of other languages.
