Pediatric Nursing Visiting Professor

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week. Clinical teaching is scheduled for a minimum of one day per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, during an 8-week session.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Mentor nursing students in pediatric clinical settings focused on family-centered care from infancy through adolescence.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate students providing nursing care.
• Assess student performance against course objectives and provide timely documented feedback and remediation.
• Develop clinical assignments and review coursework, assessments, laboratory work, and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical agencies, course coordinators, administrators, staff, and faculty regarding student and agency needs.
• Contribute to curriculum delivery, program assessment, student retention, and compliance with applicable standards.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, collaboration, and student support.
