Senior Subject Matter Expert (Investment Accounting)

What you will do

• Lead client implementation and onboarding activities using Clearwater methodologies and the Client Engagement Model.
• Provide domain expertise in investment accounting, financial statements, asset classes, and market or regulatory regimes.
• Apply Clearwater reporting capabilities across accounting, compliance, risk, and performance use cases.
• Identify process improvements and develop repeatable, scalable solutions to improve onboarding and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with product management, development teams, analysts, team leads, and program managers to resolve problems and address client requirements.
• Create training materials and standard operating procedures, contribute to thought leadership and whitepapers, and advise clients.

Requirements

• Must work from the Boise office.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s or master’s coursework in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures, equities, fixed income, and structured products.
• Experience with securities or financial markets, general ledger systems, and period-end close processes.
• Advanced project management and leadership skills, strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, and excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
