LTG - Cloud Engineer II (AWS/Terraform)

Location: Miami, FL; in-person office role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote

What you will do

• Build and maintain the internal developer portal, including plugins, integrations, and software templates.
• Create reusable service templates and CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for self-service application and infrastructure delivery.
• Administer GitHub Enterprise, including repositories, access provisioning, and policy enforcement.
• Develop Terraform modules and workspace automation, and integrate security scanning into delivery pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, automated testing, dashboards, and platform adoption reporting.
• Support the platform rotation, troubleshoot issues, document owned components, review InnerSource contributions, and mentor Level I engineers.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in software, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Go, or another programming language.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with AWS services, including identity and access management, containers, and serverless technologies.
• Understanding of internal developer platforms, software engineering practices, security scanning, automated testing, and independent troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Backstage or another developer portal.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, test automation frameworks, AWS certifications, InnerSource, or open-source projects.
