Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; onsite 50% or as needed. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance are required.

Salary: $116,000–$154,000–$169,400 annually for the Washington, DC metropolitan area; ranges may vary by state.

What you will do

• Develop, debug, test, and maintain scalable software solutions that address real-world user requirements.
• Design flexible, high-performance applications for mission-critical use cases.
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and demonstrate features.
• Work with DevSecOps specialists to deploy features and maintain system stability.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix defects, write robust test suites, and participate in code reviews.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience developing custom software solutions.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with Java and/or Python, data extraction, manipulation, and visualization.
• Understanding of scalable application design, automated testing, unit tests, and Git.
• Willingness to work onsite 50% or as business needs dictate.

Nice to have

• Strong Linux skills and familiarity with AWS, C2S, OpenStack, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with software tools, open-source resources, and DevSecOps in government computing environments.
• Adaptable, solution-oriented approach to technology.
