Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead writing for assigned proposal sections and develop structured, technically compliant narratives aligned with solicitation requirements.
• Research technical information and interview subject-matter experts, operations stakeholders, solution architects, and proposed key personnel.
• Translate complex technical solutions into clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content.
• Collaborate with proposal managers, business development, capture managers, solution architects, and technical SMEs during strategy reviews and solution sessions.
• Participate in color team reviews, incorporate feedback, and provide guidance on compliance and content quality.
• Build and maintain reusable proposal content, standard operating procedures, knowledge management artifacts, past performance libraries, and related documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, information systems, engineering, life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of federal government experience and 5+ years of technical writing and/or proposal writing experience.
• Experience synthesizing complex technical information into clear, persuasive proposal content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and competing priorities in a high-tempo environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Nice to have

• 3+ years writing complex, highly technical proposals for government-issued solicitations.
• ANC/8(a) experience.
• Experience creating high-scoring proposal graphics.
