Senior Global HR Strategy & Workforce Planning Consultant

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working

ING is a global banking organization whose Global HR Strategy & Analytics team supports enterprise workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness and future capability development.

What you will do

• Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives across global functions and business domains.
• Advise senior business and HR stakeholders on workforce implications of strategic priorities, transformations and industry trends.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative workforce data to diagnose challenges, identify root causes and develop strategic recommendations.
• Develop workforce strategies, future workforce scenarios, capability roadmaps, methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Design and facilitate executive workshops on workforce strategy, talent risks and organizational effectiveness.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives with HR, Finance, Strategy and Business stakeholders, including risks and opportunities related to technology, AI, automation and regulation.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing workforce, people or business strategies in a complex international matrix organization.
• 6–10 years of substantial work experience and comprehensive job-related experience.
• Strong consulting skills, including problem structuring, hypothesis-driven analysis and executive recommendation development.
• Strong understanding of organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across organizational boundaries and translate analytics into actionable decisions.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and changing environments, with a collaborative mindset.
