Senior Director - Product Security Engineering (AI)

hirify.global operates an enterprise Product Security program within its Cybersecurity organization and partners with Engineering and Product leadership.

What you will do

• Lead and mature the Product Security and Application Security program across software engineering and the full software development lifecycle.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to embed measurable security requirements into product designs, roadmaps, workflows, and delivery processes.
• Define secure software development strategies for modern cloud and software environments.
• Establish approaches for the safe use of AI in engineering workflows and for securing AI-enabled products.
• Own the Security Champions Program and lead secure development training, governance, and security enablement initiatives.
• Develop security metrics and executive reporting while monitoring emerging threats and Product Security practices.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading Product Security, Application Security, and Secure SDLC programs within a technology company.
• Deep expertise in secure software development practices and modern engineering environments.
• Demonstrated success partnering with software engineering organizations and influencing security adoption across complex, multi-team environments.
• Experience measuring and communicating security program effectiveness through metrics, reporting, and executive presentations.
• Knowledge of AI security considerations, including secure AI adoption in engineering and the security implications of AI-enabled products.
• Strong executive presence, collaboration, communication, strategic judgment, and ability to drive outcomes through influence.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Product Security teams and programs in SaaS or software-focused environments.
• Experience building and scaling Security Champions programs and secure development training initiatives.
• Participation in security industry communities, forums, working groups, or conferences.
• Equivalent education, training, and relevant professional experience in lieu of a formal degree.
