Process Integration Development Engineer (TEM)

What you will do

• Characterize semiconductor nano-devices using advanced transmission electron microscopy.
• Prepare TEM samples and perform imaging and analysis in a high-throughput environment.
• Support fabrication, failure analysis, technology development, process development, and process integration activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize metrology strategies and troubleshoot process flow issues.
• Perform sample preparation and imaging using focused-ion-beam and transmission electron microscope tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in high-volume manufacturing environments and expand technical skills.

Requirements

• PhD in a technical area such as Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of experience operating transmission electron microscopes.
• At least 1 year of experience with Python, MATLAB, or another programming language.
• Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.
• Open attitude toward learning new methods, tools, and fields of study.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with TEM sample preparation or automated TEM imaging.
• Experience with advanced TEM techniques such as EELS, EDX, or 4D STEM.
• Knowledge of electron optics and semiconductor process integration.
