Tech Recruitment Manager (Fintech)

Location: Cardiff, London, or remote within the UK

What you will do

• Lead hiring strategy for a technology business area in partnership with executives, senior stakeholders, workforce planning, and business hiring leadership.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Recruiters while setting priorities, allocating resources, and supporting complex hiring challenges.
• Stay hands-on with recruitment by managing requisitions and partnering with Hiring Managers on assessment processes and candidate experience.
• Recruit across levels from individual contributors to senior managers, directors, and executives.
• Use data, market insights, and candidate feedback to improve hiring quality, efficiency, inclusive hiring practices, and recruitment processes.
• Source passive talent, share competitor insights, and contribute to the growth and development of the Tech Hiring team.

Requirements

• Significant in-house recruitment experience within technology functions such as Engineering or Product.
• Experience managing or coaching Recruiters and developing people.
• Experience partnering with VPs and executives, influencing hiring strategy, and challenging constructively.
• Recruitment experience across mid-level, Senior Manager, Director, and individual contributor roles.
• Strong sourcing skills, including attracting passive candidates, and the ability to use data and market insights in hiring decisions.
• Commitment to inclusive hiring, excellent candidate experiences, and trusted stakeholder relationships.

• Experience managing hiring teams across multiple locations or hybrid and remote environments.
• Experience recruiting technology roles in a high-growth startup or scale-up.
• Experience partnering with workforce or capacity planning teams.
