Manager Corporate Development (Mergers and Acquisitions)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; on-site at the hirify.global location five days a week. Some travel is required. Relocation may be eligible. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Evaluate and execute strategic opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and joint ventures.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to assess transactions, industry trends, competitive dynamics, opportunities, and risks.
• Support financial analysis, strategic evaluation, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management.
• Prepare transaction materials, analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership review.
• Manage relationships with potential partners, target companies, investment banks, advisors, and other external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, business, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, or equivalent work, with end-to-end transaction experience.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and accretion/dilution analyses.
• Experience with deal structuring and negotiation, including reviewing investment and merger agreements.
• Knowledge of transportation, logistics, or supply chain technology sectors and their market dynamics.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
• Experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting.
