Avionics Engineer

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 USD

What you will do

• Design circuits and PCBs for various spacecraft subsystems.
• Characterize, test, and validate hardware systems across the spacecraft.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to architect, design, and execute satellite avionics.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• 2+ years experience in PCB/hardware design.
• A passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit design skill.
• Experience debugging circuits with embedded software, from oscilloscope to firmware.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGAs, microcontrollers, and communication schemes (RS-485, SPI, Ethernet, I2C).
• Experience with C, C++, or Python.
• Radiation effects knowledge.
• Environmental test experience.
