Entry Level Associate Neurophysiologist - Regional Traveler Mid-Atlantic (MedTech)

Location: Virginia; field-based role with up to 100% travel throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and Washington, DC

What you will do

• Provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgical procedures and monitor patients’ nervous systems.
• Obtain patient medical histories and consult surgeons about structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
• Communicate monitoring information to surgeons and surgical staff throughout each case.
• Display, label, measure, and calculate waveform data, including latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
• Select appropriate protocols, troubleshoot data collection, and complete IOM documentation and file uploads.
• Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and complete required maintenance checks.

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates with a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and collaboration skills, including communication in English with surgeons and surgical staff.
• Ability to transport and set up medical equipment weighing up to 50 pounds in the operating room.
• Ability to manage frequent schedule changes, competing demands, delays, and unexpected events.
• Maintain CNIM status and meet required hospital privileges, physical requirements, and vaccination requirements.
• Valid US driver’s license, private transportation, and ability to travel up to 100% are required.
