What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and deliver a complete patient experience across clinical and reception functions.
• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, review medical information, collect updated health data, and document accurately.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Schedule patients, manage medical record requests, coordinate referrals and specialist visits, and handle check-in and check-out.
• Process test results and communicate them to patients according to provider instructions.
• Participate in patient outreach, care-gap initiatives, and maintenance of clinical and office supplies.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Decatur, Illinois.
